Media, Photo & Story Consent Policy

1. Purpose
This Policy explains how AGSOSA handles photographs, videos, alumni stories, memory-wall submissions, spotlight submissions, captions, and related media submitted through the Platform or captured at Association activities.
2. Member Submissions
By submitting media or a story, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful, respectful, and that you have the right to submit it. You grant the Association permission to review, edit for clarity, publish, archive, and display the submission for Association purposes, subject to applicable privacy choices and review workflows.
3. Third-Party Images and Stories
Do not submit another person's image, private information, or story unless you have their permission or a legitimate Association basis for doing so. The Association may remove content if a credible privacy, consent, safety, or accuracy concern is raised.
4. Review and Removal
Submitted content may be reviewed by authorised communications or publicity officers before publication. The Association may decline or remove content that is defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, politically inflammatory, commercially promotional, privacy-invasive, or inconsistent with AGSOSA values.
5. Withdrawal Requests
You may request removal of media or stories you submitted by contacting communications@ags-alumni.com or privacy@ags-alumni.com. Removal from future public display does not necessarily remove archival records, backups, or lawful institutional records.
