Travel & participation

Built for local, national, and diaspora alumni.

Diaspora arrivals are coordinated through the Lagos Continental staging hotel on Thursday with a Friday-morning shuttle to Badagry.

Set captains receive the captain's pack four weeks before Homecoming with seating, colours, and roll-call sequencing.

Every delegate is verified. Badges carry the set year, the table number, and the meal preference — picked up at the school gate on arrival.

Questions

What delegates tend to ask.

Are these dates final?

The 22–24 October 2026 dates are provisional. The Central Council will publish the locked dates after the Q1 2026 sponsor commitments close. Subscribe via the registration form for the locked date alert.

Who should attend?

Verified AGSOSA members across every set, invited families, school stakeholders, sponsors, the diaspora chapters, and approved guests of the Central Council.

Can my set coordinate separately?

Yes — and you should. Sets should appoint a captain and begin coordination by July 2026 so the central programme can support roll-call logistics, seating, set colours, and group photography.

Is the gala strictly black tie?

Yes. Black tie or full traditional. The day-time programme is white-on-white. The dress code is published with the locked programme.

How do I become a Patron?

Email patrons@agsosa.org or use the Patron Circle reservation above. Patrons are recognised on the donor wall and seated at the Trustees' table.

What if I cannot travel?

A diaspora live feed will carry the Day Two keynote, the service handover, and the awards. Your set's roll call will be acknowledged on the live feed if your captain registers you.
